Meda in Taj Hotel celebrates the iconic Med spirit with a contemporary take on the flavors of Spain, Italy, and Greece.

Meda is a brand new restaurant offering a a refreshed interpretation of tapas that have been passed on through the generations. Tucked away on the mezzanine floor of Taj Hotel in Business Bay the menu includes raw delicacies and crudos, complete with cold and hot tapas, main courses, and desserts.
The venue boasts a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere and interiors with a neutral palette with pops of colour, and a touch of modern classical elements.Offering a diverse menu, Meda takes guests on a journey from raw and caviar delicacies to wholesome signature preparations.
The Seabream Ceviche, served with crispy corn, piquillo, olives, and pickled red onion, the Tuna Tartare wrapped in filo pastry cones with avocado cream, and the tomato confit and pesto topped Smoked Burrata are great cold tapas to start with. In the hot tapas, the Huevos Rotos stands out, served with black truffle, veal jus and shaved parmesan. The Gambas dish is a unique preparation of garlic chili prawn paired with an airy focaccia.
The sumptuous array of mains includes a signature traditional Neapolitan Calamarata Lobster Pasta served with confit tomato, bisque and fresh basil, and a decadent Lamb Rack with green mojo sauce and truffle mashed potato. The Seafood Paella is what totally won us over. The saffron-laced rice is packed with flavor and plenty of shrimp and squid.
