Where to get your Matcha fix in Dubai.
We are constantly on the hunt for the newest cafe in Dubai because we love nothing more than catching up with friends at a trendy spot while sipping coffee or matcha.
Let us introduce you to Maison Cha Cha, a new-kid-on-the-block that we have been obsessively thinking about it since the day we discovered this gem in the heart of Downtown Dubai. This NYC inspired all-things-Matcha and more has opened its doors in Downtown Dubai.
The first thing that caught our attention is the carefully curated interior design- with plenty of bring light, vibrant colours, interesting materials and a cool vibe, this place is seriously stylish. The tiles have been imported from Spain and the attention-to-detail is immaculate. The adorable mascot Cha Cha, a regular Dubai who loves matcha, can be seen everywhere-from the door knob to the menu.
When the trio behind this concept set out to open their Matcha Bar and All-Day CafĂ©, they dreamed of more than just serving delicious drinks and food, they envisioned a space where every corner exuded the energy of creativity and inspiration, much like the vibrant streets of New York City. It’s quite clear, that vision has now been executed to perfection because this space is all that and much more!
The Matcha-heavy menu here includes the hot version for the purists who like to have it in the original manner, but for those looking to elevate it further there are a whole host of matcha infused hot and cold drinks. The Chill Pill made with Matcha, cinnamon, ashwagandha, vanilla extract, almond milk and agave is not just good for you but also tastes fantastic. They use ceremonial quality matcha and the add-on ingredients are focused on wellness and health-so rest assured, these are not just gimmicky drinks, full of sugar. It will not only make you feel great, it also tastes amazing!
For those who can’t say no to coffee, the beans are sourced from the famous French Cafes Richard, and really hits the spot.
The breakfast menu has an exquisite array of dishes, but if you don’t fancy eggs or pastries, then pick one of their tartine offerings. Our order of the Smoked Salmon was served on toasted sourdough, and garnished with shallot, lemon ricotta, capers, pickled red onions, chives and rocket leaves, is a particular menu highlight and utterly delicious.
If dessert for breakfast is more your style then you should indulge in their highly addictive Banana French Toast made with brioche and topped with caramelised bananas, salted caramel and crushed peanuts. With just the right amount of sweetness, we loved the peanut texture and taste as it added a whole new dimension to the taste.
Not only will Matcha-lovers be in their element here, but this all-day cafe is also a must-stop for those seeking a delicious and healthy meal anytime of day.
