The heritage Moroccan brand Bacha Coffee is in Dubai Mall.
If you are as coffee obsessed as us then Bacha Coffee is one that you have to have heard of. This storied coffee house was founded in 1910 in Morocco. Their Dubai Mall outpost is elegant and sophisticated and once seated you are treated like royalty.
The tables are beautifully decorated with fine bone china and silver cutlery all perfectly placed. The menus for food and coffee are separate and then there is a book that explains everything about coffee you will ever need to know. Even as coffee lovers and knowing our basic likes and dislikes, at Bacha you will be taken into a whole new universe of coffee.
The barista asked us detailed questions of personal preferences when it comes to the type of coffee we like and that helped decide what we were finally going to have. Lucky enough to smell some of the beans, we appreciated the time and effort the team takes at Bacha to really pick the right flavours for each guest. With over 200 varieties of 100% Arabica coffees from 35 of the most well reputed producing countries, there is endless choice to pick from. Those who want decaf drinks can also come and enjoy the most exquisite cups of coffee. There literally is a cup for every taste here.
Each coffee cup is served in a silver pot and with a side of the most delicious Chantilly cream that is made in-house daily. Their menu is extensive and as we were there for breakfast we tried the shakshouka with feta and olive-this was simply fantastic. The other dish was a twist to the classic French toast-a sandwich filled with slow-cooked chicken-we can’t stop thinking about it!
There is also an extensive range of take-home coffee options and these make the best gifts.
Bacha Coffee is more than just a simple cup of coffee you want to grab (although even their takeaway cups are served so elegantly), this a place where you want to sit down and mindfully enjoy the entire ritual of drinking coffee.
