Head over to Boca for a festive holiday brunch in Dubai.
We were invited by Boca to experience the special holiday brunch in Dubai. Located in DIFC, Boca is a homegrown restaurant that offers a unique sharing food menu that boasts dishes from France, Spain and Italy.
The festive holiday brunch begins with a host of different starters. Â We adored the refreshing Nordic dish of home cured trout gravadlax that was served with cucumber relish, goats curd and confit lemon.
Our other favourite was the rich and tasty black truffle foie gras that came with an indulgent cube of brioche. Â The duck salad was light and very unique-smoked duo mixed with braised lentils, root vegetables and chicory.
The last dish in the starters was an impressive platter of baked winter cheese, cold cuts, new potatoes, pickles and grilled sourdough.
In the mains there is a choice of scottish salmon wellington or then a whole roasted poultry.  We went for the latter and were absolutely thrilled with our decision.  The roast was cooked with thyme, rosemary, purple garlic and arrived moist and tender.  The side dishes included duck fat roasted potatoes, sautéed greens and truffle mac and cheese.  It was hands down a winning dish.
Although we had very little room for dessert, we changed our minds once we saw the grand platter that arrived. Â A visual delight, it was a mix of fruit and cake that included mangoes, raspberries, apple, along with warm banana cake and chocolate ganache.
Overall, the Boca Festive Brunch in Dubai is a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays and enjoy a hearty meal with loved ones in a relaxed and understated setting. Â Oh, and we definitely recommend booking a table on the outside patio.
The Boca Festive Brunch is available on Friday from 12pm-5pm and costs 295 AED per person.
