Life n’ One is a wellness centre with a healthy cafe serving vegan food located in the heart of Jumeirah.
We have a penchant for unusual eateries-from being the first to discover hidden beach breakfast spots to tiny food stalls in Karama, we love scouring for unorthodox places around Dubai.
The latest on our radar is tucked away in the heart of Jumeirah. Â What might look like an ordinary villa, might surprise you as you follow the path toward the back into the secret garden. Â Soft soulful melodies fill the air and the garden is nothing like we have seen here before-an eclectic mix of furniture that includes everything from rattan stools to a communal wood table, there is plenty of places to get comfortable.
Dedicated solely to those who want a healthy meal, One Cafe serves vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free and of course, meat-free, that is all made to order. Â Obviously all the Superfoods are on the menu-everything from bee pollen to maca powder have made the list and can be added to the healthy juices (28 AED) , shakes (32 AED) and smoothies (34 AED).
For lunch we tried out the Spinach Salad (32 AED), served with cucumbers, onions, lettuce, spinach and tomatoes the fresh olive tapenade and the salad dressing made it tasty  Our main order of the Pumpkin Curry was served with a side of wild rice-hearty and wholesome it was quite filling.
An extremely relaxing place, it is the ideal way to get away from it all and come and unwind or then surf the internet-they have free wifi. Â Or then check the timings for their workouts-they offer pilates and yoga classes. Â We personally can’t wait to try out their outdoor yoga.
