European Film Screenings is taking place in Dubai from the 22nd-31st of October 2015.

The second edition of the European Film Screenings is back in Dubai from the 22nd-31st of October at Novo Cinema in Ibn Battuta Mall.  Open to the public and absolutely free of charge, everyone is welcome to enjoy 18 recent and diverse films from 18 countries across Europe.  As a way to create dialogue each of the screenings will be followed by a short film from the UAE.

Viewers can pick from a wide range of movies including award-winning film Terraferma originating from Italy which premiered at the 68th Venice International Film Festival and is directed by Emanuele Crialese.

Bogowie from Poland is about a Polish surgeon who performed the country’s first successful heart transplant.

Dark Horse: The Incredible True Story of Dream Alliance, is from the UK and is a documentary about friends who breed horses and is by Louise Osmond.

The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared is from Sweden, Felix Herngren’s adaptation of Jonas Jonasson’s international bestseller.

The event is free of charge and on a first come first serve basis, so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
