A cool community space for those who want to try their hand at pottery in Dubai.
Dubai’s art scene is growing and maturing all the time. However, pottery is not the most popular art form that’s often on display. Yadawei may be changing all of that as it starts to make a name for itself on Al Serkal Avenue.
The ceramics studio is the perfect place for pottery lovers to break the routine, chill out and create something unique. Members have their own shared space where they’re able to work freely on their own schedules. The space is also inspiring as it brings likeminded creative types together.
Yadawei also offers classes for beginners through its two-day intensive workshops. The aim of the course is to introduce participants to the main techniques of working with clay, such as as coils, pinch, slab and wheel throwing.
Once you’ve mastered the basics, you can also sign up to join the various meet up sessions offered. At these events, artists are able to demonstrate what they have learned and showcase their creations.
