Smoothies are easy to make and filling as a full breakfast meal or then a mid-afternoon snack. In order to keep it interesting, we love exploring with different flavour combinations. Our latest favourite smoothie combines two quintessential Middle Eastern ingredients, Medjool Dates and Tahini, and tastes awesome.
Medjool Dates and Tahini Healthy Smoothie Recipe:
240 ml of almond milk – (recipe can be found here)
1 tbsp of tahini
2 medjool dates pitted
1 ripe banana
1 tsp of chia seeds
1 tsp of cardamom (optional)
Combine all these ingredients into the blender and whizz till smooth. Pour out the liquid and drink away!
