Shakespeare Under the Stars is back in Dubai! After last year’s Romeo and Juliet was a huge success, this immersive theatre experience is back even bigger this year with Macbeth. Yes, that is right, one of Shakespeare’s greatest tragedies will be staged at Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz. The warehouses and outdoor spaces will provide a unique way to immerse in and experience Macbeth like never before.
An all-female cast bring this retelling to life with an immersive experience. Â You are invited to be immersed in it, roaming the Yard, warehouses, alleyways, and concept spaces to find your own story. See it, smell it, hear it, taste it, feel it. Oh and of course, do wear comfortable shoes!
This modern interpretation is very unique and intriguing. Â Set in the present-day UAE, in the cutthroat corporate environment. The board members of the powerful Scotland Corp., a security and surveillance company, find themselves in a struggle for leadership, with Macbeth seizing control in the most unorthodox fashion.
