A must-try, if you go during the weekend, is their Friday brunch (from 300 AED). The variety of food is outstanding and there is live entertainment. Saadiyat Island is only a 15-minute drive to Abu Dhabi Downtown so you can pop to the city in the afternoon for a bit of exploration (check Abu Dhabi Confidential for recommendations). If you want to simply relax then enjoy the facilities in the afternoon – they have 5 swimming pools, including a 25 m indoor swimming pool perfect for laps, tennis courts, squash courts and an 18-hole golf course.

The hotel is also child-friendly and has The Sandcastle Club (photo above), with indoor and outdoor activities for the little ones.
