Dubai Dance Academy and Ballet Grand Gala is proud to bring Opera de Paris dancers for the fourth year in Dubai on January 6th and 7th, 2017.
Start this year with a wonderful performance organised by the Dubai Dance Academy and Ballet Grand Gala as they bring Opera de Paris dancers for the fourth year in Dubai on January 6th and 7th, 2017. The Ballet Grand Gala 2017 is presenting Star Dancer Dorothée Gilbert, Germain Louvet and First Soloists Hugo Marchand and Hannah O’Neill. They will grace the stages of Madinat Jumeirah Theatre with 10 other dancers from Paris Opéra amongst whom Paul Marque, the 2016 Gold Medal winner of prestigious Varna International Ballet Competition.
Sponsored by Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach and Air France, the dance recital now in its fourth edition is entirely organized by the passionate Ballet Grand Gala team. The Dubai audience will relish an evening of classic repertoire with Roméo et Juliette by Rudolf Noureev, La Sylphide et Le Corsaire, Flames of Paris as well as neoclassical creations such as Donizetti by Manuel Legris and Thais, choreographed by Opera de Paris ballet master Laurent Novis.
Paris Opera dancers will also perform The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude, the brilliant masterpiece ballet by acclaimed New Yorker choreographer William Forsythe. The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude is often referred to as “the most technically difficult ballet ever performed.” The audience will be in awe with this piece of exhilarating excellence.
The Ballet Grand Gala 2017 tickets are priced at 280 AED per person.
When – January 6th at 2pm and 8pm and on January 7th at 6pm.
