An opportunity to create, relax and drink amongst the 65,000 marine animals of The Lost Chambers Aquarium.
The Lost Chambers Aquarium hosts its unique theme night on Monday 22nd May, perfect for budding artists in Dubai. Set against the mesmerising tranquility of The Ambassador Lagoon, ‘Art and Grape Under the Sea’ invites guests to learn how to paint with watercolors under the tutorage of an expert, whilst enjoying unlimited grape and canapés from 8.30pm to 10.30pm for 395 AED per person.
Open to all levels, from beginner to advanced, ‘Art and Grape Under the Sea’ is a two-hour workshop led by Dubai artist, Lillian Mackey who will guide guests on their creative journey, each leaving with a masterpiece ready to take pride of place on their wall. Hailing from Ireland and the head of Art and Design at the award-winning Nord Anglia International School, Mackey has an infectious passion and enthusiasm for art that is sure to create an encouraging and memorable atmosphere.
Inspired by a study published by researchers from the National Marine Aquarium at Plymouth and Exeter University, ‘Art and Grape Under the Sea’ embodies that findings that contemplation of fish in an aquarium affects the reduction of stress and anxiety and provides health benefits, including lowered blood pressure.
Taking place one Monday every month, ‘Art and Grape Under the Sea’ will take place on Monday 22nd May, followed by events on the following dates
- Monday 3rd July
- Monday 4th September
- Monday 11th December
The two-hour event from 8.30pm-10.30pm costs AED 395 and includes entry into The Lost Chambers Aquarium at Atlantis The Palm expert tutorial, unlimited grape and canapés as well as the chance to take your masterpiece home.
