We were invited to try their wellbeing treatment at the luxurious Waldorf Astoria on Palm Jumeirah. We began the treatment by first blind testing four candles-our candle of choice was the De-Stress Treatment. While the therapist prepared our room, we took advantage of the spa facilities that included a steam, sauna and jaccuzzi.

The environment in the room is catered to the bespoke treatment that starts with a guided meditation and breathing exercises. The therapist also works on pressure points with some reflexology massage techniques. Once completely relaxed, the Neom Intensive Skin Treatment Candle oil is drizzled all over the skin and the massage begins. The full body massage is all about relieving stress by using the best techniques from shiatsu, cranio and Thai massage and also trigger point work.

You will leave feeling much lighter and completely relaxed. The treatment ends with chocolate covered strawberries and the option to stay on and relax on a floating bed or then use the spa facilities again.
