WE HAVE FINALLY DISCOVERED A SUSTAINABLE SALON IN DUBAI

Now that we are making lifestyle changes in order to be more sustainable, we have also been on the lookout for a green salon. We recently discovered Boho, an ethical and sustainably focused salon on the Dubai scene. With beautiful, boho chic interiors, a warm ambiance, spacious areas, and sustainably sourced materials, the salon prides itself on performing treatments and services ethically, being kind to its clients as well as the planet.

Specialising in creative hair color, haircuts and styling, customized scalp treatments and more grooming and nail services, Boho uses select brands and practices to bring sustainability, eco-preservation, and kindness to the forefront of their services and the local beauty industry.

For my first visit, I decided to go for Hair Ritual treatment that promises to restore a healthy scalp and hair by adopting a regimen that meets your scalp and hair needs. The ritual includes a treatment that works on the hair internally to seek out and repair broken bonds caused by chemical, thermal, mechanical and environmental damage. A customized scalp treatment with all-natural, active ingredients that are rich in antioxidants, soothing, cleansing or anti-inflammatory properties. This ritual is customized to restore and repairs hair with high grade, ingredients that restores true hair texture.

Using Davines products, the therapist began by washing my hair and then applying the scalp treatment. This was gently massaged into the hair and then the hair was washed and conditioned. Once back on the chair she applied another product to protect the hair and then went onto styling the hair.

This Hair Ritual is a treatment that we could all use on a regular basis. It not only cleans the scalp but it also leaves the hair looking shiny and revived!
