We booked the Herbal Thai Pack Massage (280 AED) and enjoyed every second. The therapist arrived armed with towels, music, and scented candles, which created a spa-like ambience in our living room. The full body treatment began with the gentle rubbing of Rose Oil over skin, followed by traditional Thai-style kneading, patting, and rolling. The combination of movements ensured that every muscle was relaxed and relieved of tension.
The second half of the treatment began with the herbal balls (containing Thai spices, such as Eucalyptus, Lemongrass and Ginger) being soaked and then steamed, creating a powerfully warming smell as the herbs came to life and released their scents. When ready, the balls were pressed along the body in slow movements, allowing the herbs to work their magic. It was incredibly soothing and deepened our sense of relaxation. In total, the treatment lasted just over an hour.
This ancient method of detoxing and cleansing the body left us feeling calm and invigorated – and the convenience of enjoying it at home meant we could hop straight into bed for a welcome sleep afterwards. With Queen Bee just a call away, we now have a great excuse to stay at home!
