Some of our favourite restaurants in Dubai for your mini gourmets.
Bystro
This buzzing café gets bonus points for the little play area (and sliding doors that kids can’t escape through), but the menu is the main draw, with options from breakfast to burgers. And children eat free Monday to Saturday, 5pm to 7pm, when an adult orders a main.

Tom & Serg
Still one of Dubai’s hottest spots, the kids are also catered for at Tom & Serg, with the likes of spaghetti and meatballs, and eggs on toast. Toilets are upstairs, as is a small area with little tables for drawing, and a reading nook, but note that there’s no elevator for strollers.

Arrows & Sparrows
You’ve got to love a café that gets the balance right – a kid’s menu that’s healthy enough for parents, but offers fun food that they’ll love. Dishes include penne with asparagus and spinach sauce, toasted cheese sandwich with apple slices, and grilled chicken with mash and broccoli, and little ones eat free on weekdays between 2pm and 7pm when an adult orders food.

Burger & Lobster
You might not expect this DIFC bar-restaurant to be very kiddie-friendly, but with dishes starting from AED15, mini milkshakes, delicious child-sized burgers and live lobsters to look at, this place is a must. There’s also valet parking.
