A DESERT TALE FOR CHILDREN IN DUBAI

It is exciting to finally be able to read your children a book about Dubai, the city they are growing up in. We have discovered this brand new children’s book by Dubai resident Cristina Fernandes.  The story revolves around two expat children living in Jumeirah as they discover the cities rich culture and heritage starting from the souqs on the old side of town.  The story then develops further with the siblings visiting the modern wonders including the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab.

 An easy read it is entertaining and informative-a magical tale that is the perfect way to teach children about the pearl diving and Bedouin history of Dubai and embrace the life we lead here.  The book is suitable for children from 3 till 8 years old and costs 30 AED if bought directly from the write or 35 AED from the retail stores listed below.
