A gourmet Iftar experience at home
We all have those days when we want an indulgent iftar without actually leaving our home. When that happens, the chefs at Swissôtel Al Ghurair will come to the rescue. After placing your order they will efficiently, deliver mouthwatering delivery options, ideally suited for the size of your bubble.
We were lucky enough to experience the mouthwatering feast of season favourites delivered right to our doorstep, complete with hot & cold mezzeh, traditional desserts including Umm Ali and more.
We started with a hearty lentil salad topped with crispy pita and followed it with an array of starters. These included falafels, samosas and cheese sambusa. We already felt full with this part of the spread!
Finally onto the mains and there was an option to choose from either a Biryani Chicken Feast or a Lamb Ouzi Feast. We picked the delightful biryani that came with all the condiments including a refreshing raita, crispy papadoms, and a spicy achaar.
The meal ended with the most satisfying Umm Ali which we savored with a hot cup of tea. The hotel leaves no detail and even sends a box full of dates and nuts to break the fast.
