Tashkeel is hosting a range of creative workshops for children.
Finding fun yet creative things for children to do during the summer can be difficult. We just heard news about the latest Summer Camp in Dubai hosted by Tashkeel. A contemporary art organisation committed to facilitating art and design practice, creative experimentation and cross-cultural dialogue, it is one of our personal favourite places in the city for all things creative.
They will be hosting innovative workshops that will give young artists an opportunity to explore a huge range of creative skills to encourage new levels of creating and making from August 16th to 27th, 10am – 1pm, for children aged 8-16 years.
The classes will include Casting, Stamp Making, Batik, Sketchbook, Mono Prints, Dry Point Etching, Illustration, Pin Hole Camera, Screen Prints
Kids only need to bring old clothes to work in, and the rest of the materials needed for the workshops will be provided by Tashkeel. Parents can take their children to individual session, which costs AED250; or avail a week’s package of AED1150; or AED2200 for two weeks.
