The Perfect Recipe is a Ramadan-themed special cartoon webisode available in English and Arabic.
Ramadan is about fasting, charity, food and family and as it falls during summer vacation, it’s also the time to find new ways to keep your little ones entertained and engaged!
Although we try and keep them away from electronics during the summer, there is one Ramadan-themed cartoon webisode, The Perfect Recipe, that we also enjoyed watching.
The cartoon is part of The Adventures of Zee, an animated webisode series available in Arabic and English and features the adorable Zee and her friends Farah and Karim as they set out to make the world’s best Ma’amoul – a traditional Arabic pastry often eaten at Iftaar to break the day’s fast.
Follow the trio as they go on a special journey across the Islamic world searching for the best ingredients to make the perfect Ma’amoul. They go to Egypt, Morocco, Dubai and many more exciting places to select their ingredients and, as is the way during Ramadan, they don’t forget to give to those in need along the way.
Teach your children about giving back, the importance of family time and even a little about the joy of cooking through this delightful webisode.
