We do love watching movies and have to admit that we have checked out all of Dubai’s cinemas. They all offer great food (yes, we love our box of popcorn, platter of nachos and even that indulgent nutella crepe), comfortable seating and an overall great experience.
Our latest spot to watch a movie has something more to offer than just all of the above. In fact, it really is a unique cinema experience. Ready to hear more? Thanks to VOX Cinema you can now watch your movie under the stars on a rooftop.
Literally ‘raising the roof on your movie experience’ this outdoor theatre is the first open air VOX Cinema in the region. Located on the rooftop of the Galleria Mall on Al Wasl Road in Dubai, the new outdoor cinema offers movie fans the chance to enjoy the best and latest in movie entertainment under the stars.
Movie fans can bundle up with VOX Cinemas’ blankets and enjoy the fresh air while watching the latest movie blockbusters. There is a state-of-the-art surround sound system, you can also opt for headphones for a completely immersive experience.
The seating is comfortable and lounge style and although the traditional cinema snacks are available, guests can also choose to order from a variety of F&B options offered by Galleria Mall. Once orders are placed, restaurants located at the lower level of the mall will deliver food directly to the guests’ tables on the rooftop throughout the movie session.
The cinema offers magnificent views of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab with a capacity to host up to 111. Screenings are scheduled to take place until the end of Dubai’s winter season in April, hosting sessions from 8pm onwards throughout the week.
