For lunch we enjoyed burgers at Toro Loco-the casual ambiance and relaxed atmosphere made it the ideal spot for a quick bite before returning to the poolside.

Dinner at L’Olivo was outstanding. The pizza was made in the stone oven right in front of us and the mains of seabass and mushroom risotto were both exceptionally tasty. We ended the meal with a generous serving of the most creamy and indulgent tiramisu.

Breakfast of course, was a rich and varied buffet spread. From eggs made to order to an entire section dedicated to Indian and Arabic dishes, it was all delightful. There’s an equally impressive selection of teas, coffee, juices, and healthy elixirs. The vibrant setting was the perfect way to start the day.

Prioritising relaxation, Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah offers 7 swimming pools, including a serene saltwater pool. Younger visitors can revel in the excitement of the Rixy Kids Club, where every child is treated like a VIP. The club features a wide array of daily activities, interactive games, masterclasses, and captivating shows aimed at sparking creativity and encouraging social interaction. Meanwhile, teens can enjoy the Teens Club, a supervised but adult-free zone where they can connect with peers and participate in tournaments, workshops, and games throughout the day.

The Exclusive Sports Club features group fitness classes, gym sessions, and daily wellness programs. We tried the early morning stretching session and it really helped to set a peaceful tone for the rest of the day.

Our stay in the One Bedroom Premium Suite Beachfront was blissful-with breathtaking beachfront sea view, elegant decor, and direct beach access, it offered the perfect seaside escape.

Rixos Al Mairid is hands down one of the best resorts in Ras Al Khaimah. A beachfront retreat synonymous with luxury and comfort, it delivers on that promise-and more.
