Soul Kitchen is now hosting a Saturday brunch, “Flowers on Toast,” from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
If you are looking for a fun brunch then Soul Kitchen’s “Flowers on Toast” is a sophisticated gathering of all things groovy. Guests will get to experience the daze of the 60s and 70s funk & soul era with our expert sound selectors. Each Saturday at Soul Kitchen turns into a foot-tapping, hip-grinding soulful affair that’s perfect for crowds longing for something different from Dubai’s usual mega brunches.
The menu is a short and sweet collection of the restaurant’s favorite dishes, all inspired by the spread of the Arab diaspora across Latin America and how that migration inspired creativity. Chef Margarita Vaamonde has refined the menu into a mezze that’s perfect for sharing.
The food menu includes options for both vegetarians and vegans. The starters are a colorful affair with Sea Bass Ceviche, Hummus with Chimichurri, Guac, Short Rib Croquettes and Wagyu Kofta all arriving at the table once we were comfortably seated. The flavors are robust and as we took our time leisurely enjoying the small plates.
In the mains there are options to pick from-depending on your mood there is lamb chops, snapper and manti. If you are vegan then the cauliflower tacos are a must-try! The sides include chargrilled broccolini and the most moreish fries sprinkled generously with a special spice.
The dessert course is a selection of churros and other chef’s special that were an absolute treat for the table.
