The Magnesium Magic Massage by Kora helps combat stress and relax your muscles.
Kora Dubai is a conscious beauty and longevity spa brand that was previously known and loved as Privee. They recently rebranded and are now focused on creating a more holistic wellness experience. The Magnesium Massage is a new addition to their menu, and I booked in after a fun but hectic summer, to truly reset. A Magnesium Massage is known to ease muscle tension, reduce stress and improve sleep quality.
As always the therapist arrived before time and quickly transformed the room into a sanctuary with relaxing music, a scented candle, warm towels, and of course, the massage bed.
Using magnesium oil, the therapist attunes the strokes and the pressure according to what the body needs in each area. She worked hard on my tight shoulders and neck, kneading away all the tension in those area. She also used tonic and stretching techniques on my stomach and legs.
Between the calming music and the gentle scent of the oil, it was almost impossible not to drift in and out of sleep. The 60-minute session passed before I knew it.
Advised not to shower afterward to fully absorb the benefits of the magnesium oil, I floated straight to bed and enjoyed a solid night of sleep, waking up refreshed the next morning.
