Looking to entertain the kids without breaking the bank? Dubai Bowling Center (DBC) Al Quoz has re-opened its doors following a huge expansion and revamp, creating extensive entertainment facilities sure to please all the family.
The recognizable Dubai landmark has retained the legendary exterior, however the new DBC has a lot more on offer than just bowling. The fun venue which is over 7,000 square meters has got something for everyone, in a playful atmosphere, at a wallet-friendly price.
DBC boasts 16-professional series bowling lanes, showing black and white movies on projectors above the lanes for those waiting their turn. DBC Arcade has classic old school games, along with high-tech games with virtual reality. The Zone is another new area, which is the e-gaming zone of tomorrow, powered with the latest high-end gaming computers and PS4s. The Zone is the perfect hang-out for the UAE’s gamers, with awesome interiors and the ability to have food and freak shakes delivered to the computer. Jump Up is the UAE’s newest trampoline playground with spaces for dodgeball, aerobics, basketball and more. Party Time is the private party hall at DBC with a range of magical packages with customizable themes. Coming up, there’s a toddler play area, Little Stars which will be opening soon, meaning the little ones can be cared for, whilst the rest of the kids and adults play.
What’s more, all of this can be enjoyed with some unique and tasty food from the in-house created brand, YAMU. YAMU meaning ‘yummy’ in Japanese, complements all the worlds at DBC. Inspired by gaming that focuses on interactivity and friendly quirkiness, it may be a fast food restaurant, but that certainly doesn’t affect quality. All burger buns are made in a Japanese bakery and colored with natural food coloring such as beetroot and matcha – there’s also famous freak shakes including Lotus Life, Cookie Monster and Pistachio Rose.
