With the weather getting warmer by the day, we are always hunting for indoor activities to amuse our little ones – so when we heard about a brand new play area in Galeries Lafayette in Dubai Mall, we couldn’t wait to try it out…
Le Petit Palais, located on the second floor near to the food court, is described as ‘a village of fun’. It looks like a mini French style city, with a play area, supermarket with mini trolleys and pretend vegetables, beauty salon, bakery, art studio, karaoke room, party rom, and soft play area.
We love the details, like the red and white shutters over the play beauty salon, the sweet karaoke room with disco lighting, and the colourful trays of vegetables in the supermarket that can be added to trolleys.
Children under three years of age need to be accompanied by an adult. The entrance fee is 80 AED for the first hour, with 20 AED for each additional hour (rates become cheaper if you take out membership). You can also pay for a whole day at 140 AED.
