We’re always looking out for innovative buys for kids – and when we heard about BoostApak, we knew it was something very special. If you travel with kids, regularly take taxis, or share lifts with friends, the clever rucksack will make travelling safer for your brood.
Boostapak, from the UK brand Trunki is a kid’s rucksack that doubles up as a booster seat for children between 4 and 12 years old. The seat is like a booster cushion with a back and has a sturdy plastic shell that can carry up to 36 kg (80 lbs). It’s hand luggage approved, so is a great idea for regular flyers (and makes transport safer when meeting transport the other end).
With a campaign in the UAE to raise awareness about buckling up in the back (coupled with constant car travel), the rucksack is the perfect product for Dubai kids. Unsurprisingly, stock ran out quickly – but now the product can finally be found again in Hallmark stores.
