“THE APARTMENT” by La Galerie Nationale is an exhibition of artworks, decorative arts and furniture from Europe from the 50’s – 70’s era.
Head over to La Galerie Nationale located in the Al Serkal Avenue, as they have just opened The Apartment, a new exhibition of European artworks and decorative arts from the 50 until the 70’s.
The exhibition shows and sell collectibles, vintage furniture, one of kind objects from renowned Designers as Mathieu Matégot, Pierre Guariche, Marco Zanuso, Serge Mouille, Charlotte Perriand, Hans Wenger, Joseph-Andre Motte, Pierre Paulin etc.
The most unique aspect of this exhibition is that for the very first time, a gallery will transform itself in a permanent apartment, in which objects and furniture will vary and change regularly. Everything there is for sale and viewers will wander around iconics and Rare Finds curated by XXth century Design international experts, dealers and collectors.
The exhibition will feature a rare numerous body of work from Jacques Nestlé painting (period from 1950 to 1965), a large and carefully curated ensemble of ceramics of the 50’s and 60’s made by some of the biggest French Masters of Pottery such as Roger Capron, Pol Chambost, Peter and Denise Orlando, Georges Jouve.
