Habtoor Grand Resort has a fabulous new Chef’s Table Culinary Experience.
Luciano’s, a chic Italian restaurant, invited us to a private dining affair with a chef-table experience that captures the soul of Tuscany. Nestled within the iconic Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection, we embarked on a culinary voyage to the picturesque landscapes of Tuscany, where every dish tells a story and every flavour is a piece of Italian saga.
The chef’s table experience has been curated by the inimitable Chef Manuel Jose Caicedo. The meticulously crafted six-course menu is fantastic! Each plate is a canvas, and every ingredient is a stroke of his culinary genius, bringing forth the true essence of Tuscany right to the table.
The indulgent meal includes a selection homemade pasta, ripe heirloom tomatoes, and smoky burrata, reflecting the bounty of the season. We began with a lobster and caviar mouse bouche followed by a wild mushroom tortellini in a clear broth. The second starter was beef cheek cannelloni served with creamy polenta, veal jus and potato foam.
The first main course was seared seabass with an apple potato gratin and kalamata jus and then we were offered olive oil lemon ice cream to clear the palette. Once we were prepared for the final main course a plate of tenderloin and a generous serving of truffle.
The live dessert station included chocolate fondant, ice cream and much more.
Chef Manuel Jose Caicedo and his team do a fantastic job offering an artfully prepared symphony of innovative dishes that not only look beautiful but are also packed with flavor!
The Chef’s Table serves up to four guests, ensuring an intimate and personalized dining experience. Available daily from 7pm to 10pm and is priced at AED 380 per person.
