Phoenix Social Club is a post-prohibition restaurant and lounge exuding modernized nostalgia. A place where old and new collide and featuring ‘fine sharing’ dining and drinking and upbeat vibes Phoenix Social Club is ‘your new local, your best secret’.
The food is produce-centric with an eclectic array of flavors and multi-cultural cooking techniques served as art, ‘fine-sharing’ style designed for guests to explore new horizons with a loose tie and without prohibitive price tags.
Begin your meal with piping hot tandoor bread straight from the oven. Depending on your mood, you can pick from a few options to try with the pillowy-roasted capsicum cream, yoghurt espuma and texture of tomato, or wagyu pancia with herb cream semi dried tomatoes and fennel or then burratina topped with paprika truffle honey, white balsamic pearls and fresh truffle. Each of these starters is unique in its flavor palette and presentation.
Onto the smaller platers and the real standout dish is the chicken liver parfait with crème fraiche, caramelized yoghurt, pickled shallots, endives and rose. If you want a safe but flavorful option then ceviche of hamachi with burnt avocado, tiger milk, chili oil, sesame and radish is a must-try. A delightful vegetarian option is the slow roasted miso pumpkin and sweet potato with pumpkin seed cream, pickled pumpkin and sweet potato crisp.
In the mains, the chargrilled octopus with yuzu kosho, miso foam, grapes, pickled kohlrabi and nori powder is so moreish that you may just end up ordering a second serving.
The beef cheek tortellinis with a porcini beurre monte, parmigiano-reggiano crisps and fresh truffle is a hearty and comforting dish that you can’t go wrong with.
If you are in the mood for something lighter then pick the delicate spiced black cod with dashi, braised daikon, edamame, shimeji mushrooms and ginger. Meat-lovers must not miss the Wagyu beef striploin with eggplant, a burnt leek tapenade, shallots and a mustard jus is ideal.
End the meal on a sweet note with a refreshing dish of compressed watermelon, fresh mangosteen, textures of white chocolate, kefir lime and basil.

Dinner is accompanied by soulful tunes of Modern Jazz, heavy on brass instruments and backed by subtle beats that increase throughout the evening to give way to Nu Jazz and Jazz-House.
The team is working on partnerships with music academies around the world to bring new talent to the venue every month to keep the sound fresh and accompany the monthly supper club parties.
Phoenix Social Club is inspired by the supper clubs, or social clubs as they were known back then, of 1930s and 1940s Los Angeles, Miami and New York.
