Amazonico has a brand new Japanese-inspired lunch menu.
Located in the heart of DIFC, Amazónico offers an immersive world into the cultural diversity and gastronomic heritage of the Amazon region. Combining a blend of tropical and Latin American cuisines, this rainforest-inspired restaurant serves signature dishes with a twist and explores cutting edge techniques with the freshest seafood, carefully sourced grilled meats and vibrant seasonal ingredients.

Amazónico is widely acclaimed for its vibrant Latin American inspired cuisine and we recently headed back there to try their newly launched 3-course set lunch menu; Japazónico. Available from Monday to Friday from 12 pm to 4 pm, Japazónico showcase Amazónico’s signature tropical and exotic take on traditional sushi.
We started with a light and refreshing Quinoa salad with kale, quinoa, avocado and almond dressing, followed by a selection of Tiradito, including sweet Hamachi flavored with passion fruit teriyaki, topped with jalapeño. The Beetroot Tiradito is served with heirloom beetroot, purple corn gazpacho and mascarpone, while the Salmon Picante is infused with anticucho and wasabi sauce.
The menu allows you to choose one tiradito, one maki and one nigiri from the set menu. The selection includes a zesty Amazónico Roll with avocado, mango, coconut and cocao nibs, the Seabass & Rocoto Roll – complete with red amadai, rocoto acevichado and sesame, as well as the aromatic Yuzu Rosemary Roll made with pickled vegetables, rosemary and yuzu shisho alioli.
Featuring a range of the finest premium ingredients from both Latin America and Asia including Ginshake – king salmon dressed in banana miso cream and chives, Amadai – red snapper served with roasted pineapple and yellow chili, and Persea made with avocado and a hint of yuzu miso, the dishes are flavorful and very satisfying.
An alternative to the Business Lunch, the Japazónico menu is priced at 125 AED per person, available from Monday to Friday from 12pm to 5pm.
