THE FIRST EVER GASTRONOMIC FRENCH FOOD FESTIVAL IN DUBAI

aperitif a la francaise

For the first time, Dubai residents are invited to Apéritif à la française taking place on January 31st, 2015 at the Westin Mina Seyahi from 12pm onwards.

Food and culture events always get us excited and that is exactly why we are counting down to the French Food Festival taking place in Dubai on the 31st of January.

A family-friendly festival, whose sole purpose is to promote French “art de vivre” (translate “art of living”) to consumers, is run once a year in more than 10 cities around the world (New York, Sao Paulo, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Montreal).

The festive atmosphere promises to be a fun day out, while getting immersed in quintessential French customs and traditions. This first of its kind, the event is open to the public and allows free entry to everyone.

There will be so much to watch and learn, including food tasting, live cooking stations with professional chefs, the chance to discover French products and of course sample some of the finest cheese from the region and a selection of grape premium beverage.
Oh, and don’t worry about your kids, they won’t be bored as a dedicated play area and workshops are being set up. The relaxed atmosphere will also include live French music to set the mood.

We personally can’t wait to try our hand at picking up some secret French cooking tips and try out homemade bread, cheese, crepes and other aperitif bites. So, make sure you go there with a full appetite!
