We’re always cautious when it comes to our skincare regime, preferring to use natural ingredients wherever possible. So when we heard that Dubai-based Cosmetologist Shirley Conlon had created a range of organic and preservative-free skincare products, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on them…
The Skin-Rescue Serum (150 AED for 25ml) was top of our list to try. The most popular item in the range, the serum contains skin-pampering infusions of Rosehip, Carrot, and Evening Primrose Oil. There are no harsh ingredients, making the product suitable for all skin types. Sold in a simple apothecary-style bottle with a dropper to minimise wastage, the serum has a strong but earthy scent and a rich texture that is absorbed quickly by the skin.
The instructions state that the serum can be used a few times a week and applied immediately after cleansing. We did just that – and after just one application at bedtime, we noticed that our skin felt softer and better hydrated.
Finding skincare products that are 100% natural, made in Dubai, and do what they promise isn’t always the easiest task – so we are delighted to stumble upon this small, but very effective range.
