The Pavilion Downtown Dubai and Dubai Confidential Film Club have teamed up to present the Unforgettable Movies Nights. The first screening will be Vertigo by Alfred Hitchcock on the 28th September at 7.30 pm at the Pavilion screening room.
Frequently ranked as one of the best films ever made, the psychological thriller first hit cinemas in 1958. Starring James Stewart, Kim Novak, and Barbara Bel Geddes, Vertigo tells the story of a retired police detective in San Francisco with a crippling fear of heights. Hired as a private detective, the plot follows “Scottie” as he tracks the activities of an acquaintance’s wife in an attempt to uncover a mystery.
The event will be free of charge thanks to the generosity of the Pavillion Downtown Dubai. Food won’t be provided, but is available to buy at the Pavilion. Those who enjoy a bite to eat after the screening are more than welcome to join us!
