EID HOLIDAY IF YOU STAY IN DUBAI THIS WEEKEND

EID HOLIDAY ITINERARY WITH FRIENDS

Staying in Dubai for Eid?

We have the perfect itinerary to follow to make your day fun and enjoyable when spending the time with a group of friends or your other half…

1/ Wake up bright and early to start the day with an al fresco breakfast at The Palace Café, located in the heart of Downtown. We recommend the delicious Shakshouka Eggs, cooked in the traditional Mediterranean style with tomatoes and onions. For those craving something heartier, why not head to Emirates Golf Club and tuck into a Full English Breakfast on the terrace? The kid-friendly spot boasts an unbeatable view of the golf course.
2/ Once you’ve wiped your plate clean, jump into the car and head over to RIPE Farmers Market at The Courtyard in Al Quoz. Spend a little time selecting from a range of organic, locally grown fruit and vegetables to stock up for the week ahead. There are plenty of other stands with interesting products, fresh bread, and deli products to browse and buy.
3/ Take advantage of the relatively cooler weather and opt for a picnic at either the quiet and wide Al Barsha Park or well-known and central Safa Park. Now that the days have cooled, you could opt instead to treat yourself to the best pizzas in town at Bussola (there are new menu choices to try), located on the terrace at the Westin Hotel.
4/Why head inside when the weather is so good? We recommend spending the afternoon relaxing on the beach or booking a Pearl Diving Tour in Bur Dubai. If you need to chill out, however, stop by Happy Valley on Jumeirah Beach Road for a pampering massage.
5/Time to freshen up and then head for drinks at The Rooftop at One & Only Royal Mirage – one of the best spots in Dubai to watch the sun set and catch-up with friends.
6/ If you love Asian food, we recommend booking a table at Thiptara for delicious Thai food and the best vantage of the Dancing Fountains – no restaurant can beat this view. Although the meal is expensive, we always head over with our trusty book of Entertainer vouchers, which make it a lot more affordable. Thiptara is a mere 5 minute walk to Dubai Mall (open 24/7 for the festive season) – so why not end your day with a stroll over the Souk al Bahar bridge to treat yourself to the cheapest Chanel handbag in the UAE… Bloomingdales has just received the much coveted “Together Bag” by Thursday/Friday, featuring the Chanel ‘Re-issue” bag and we are big fans.
