Plat du Jour on Sunday night at Brasserie Quartier.
We were recently invited to experience the Sunday night Plat du Jour at Brasserie Quartier. The grand interiors are impressive and have all the trimmings you would expect from an authentic French Brasserie including marble top tables, chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, tiled floors and much more.
Tarte Flambee
We began the first course with a tarte flambee. A generous portion of thinly rolled out bread in a rectangle shape topped with sliced onions and crème fraiche and cooked for a few minutes in a hot oven.
The main course was a 200g sirloin steak served with homemade French fries. Our juicy steak was perfectly cooked and top-notch that we enjoyed with a side of Béarnaise sauce.
Brasserie Quartier offers an elegant and relaxed setting and is a classic neighbourhood brasserie that is ideal for a quiet but winning Sunday night dinner with friends.
Plat du Jour is priced at 190 AED per person and includes a half carafe of house grape and starts at 7pm every Sunday.
