Live entertainment and an enjoyable ambiance at Satine Restaurant and Lounge by Nikki Beach.
Satine is the premier signature restaurant by Nikki Beach Dubai – the first luxury beach club concept that has already branches in more than 14 cities (Miami, Saint Tropez, Saint Barth, Â Marbella, Marrakech, Koh Samui….) –Â and we were recently invited to come and experience this new spot.
A vibrant and elegant design, the décor is minimalistic but classy. There is a spacious outdoor terrace overlooking the beach club and the Arabian Gulf. A large communal table in the centre of the room is ideal for guests to mingle (photo above).
The menu features innovative world cuisine with a Mediterranean influence and an emphasis on the finest ingredients and cooking techniques. We began with a starter of Mediterranean Vegetables (85 AED)-a beautifully plated presentation of confit vegetable mille-feuille and marinated burrata with pistou, it was rich, creamy and delicious.
For the main course we went for Arroz Bomba (160 AED). The hearty dish of langoustine, squid and roasted chicken was cooked paella style and definitely one we will order again.
Although we weren’t too keen on dessert our server highly recommended the mysterious Arabica (55 AED) and we went ahead and ordered one to share. An indulgent Jivara ganache served with confit pear and Arabica coffee ice cream it was rich and memorable.
Satine is worth visiting for a fancy meal with a party atmosphere, especially if you live in Jumeirah, as there aren’t any similar options with live entertainment and great music located on the beach. Â A vibrant and energetic place to enjoy an evening out with friends.
