Pineapple Express from Australia is a healthy food café in Dubai.
If you’re into healthy eating then you should add Pineapple Express to your list of go-to spots. This healthy café originated from Australia and is tucked away in JLT. The menu is filled with healthy options including grab-and-go snacks and balanced meals.
They have a range of sandwiches and wraps, smoothies and freshly roasted Seven Fortunes coffee to go. But it’s the variety of bowls – raw cacao to acai-that have us hooked. We tried the Manago Madness (45 AED), passionfruit pulp and coconut water topped with fresh banana, mango, pineapple and crunchy granola. Albeit expensive, it really tasted as good as it looked. These bowls are the perfect options for when you are in a rush or then craving something sweet.
Pineapple Express is set up like a bar and has a few tables. The servers are friendly and helpful and can help you pick the item best suited to your taste and cravings.
Although the space is very limited you can see more than a few nod’s to the cafe’s Aussie heritage and the founders’ love of the great outdoors with the surfboard surfboard.
So, if you are a healthy eater or just want to treat yourself to a guilt-free treat this spot is worth trying. Oh, and it will also make for great Instagram photo!
Pineapple Express is located on the First Floor of Almas Tower in Jumeirah Lake Towers and is open Saturday to Thursday 6:30am-10pm and Fridays 6:30am-8pm.
