We recently discovered a café by Downtown Dubai that serves some interesting healthy options for breakfast and one protein-packed dish that specifically caught our attention: Coconut Quinoa Porridge (38 AED).
Made with quinoa soaked in homemade almond milk, blueberries, chia seeds, almond flakes and banana slices, the combination of the ingredients actually works very well together. Although the dish has a very light texture and consistency, it will keep you full for the next few hours.
A must-try dish that is the perfect weekday morning meal, visit the place if you live in the vicinity of the Downtown area. The café – Crumble – is attached to Sofitel and also serves delicious coffee. Sadly, the atmosphere is lacking and the setting is quite cold, but their healthy breakfast will keep you coming back.
