Struggling to find the right recipe for a healthy breakfast?
Try cooking with Steel-cut oats as they are known for their nutritional benefits and are a very filling breakfast meal that will be sure to get you through a hectic day in Dubai.
Check out this delicious and very easy to make recipe that we dress up with a variety of different add-ons.
1 cup Steel-Cut Oats
3 Cups Water
½ Teaspoon Chia Seeds
1 Tablespoon Chopped Almonds
Handful of Strawberries
Handful of Blueberries
Agave Sugar (according to taste)
Dallop of Greek Yogurt
Bring 3 cups of water to a boil and then add the oats. You can also substitute the water for Almond Milk.
Reduce the heat, and continue cooking for 15-20 minutes (keep checking for the consistency, cook longer if you prefer more chewy oats).
Remove from the heat and let it cool down.
Once rested add chopped strawberries, blueberries, agave sugar (according to taste), greek yogurt and then sprinkle the chia seeds and chopped almonds on top.
Ps: Oatmeal can be made in advance and refrigerated
