Detox Clean Start is a spa treatment in Dubai available at the Heavenly Spa.
We were on the lookout for a body detox when we received an invitation to review the Detox Clean Start spa treatment at Heavenly Spa.  Located at the Westin Al Habtoor City, we headed there for our 80-minute detox cleansing ritual followed by the 50-minute Thai balance massage.
This state-of-art spa features high ceilings, natural elements, revealing views of the city skyline and iconic downtown area, including Burj Khalifa. We began with 10 minutes in the sauna before being led to the treatment room. Â The therapist started with a foot cleansing ritual that immediately had a relaxing affect on the mind.
After this, a delicious smelling salt scrub was massaged all over the body before we were asking us to shower and clean it off. Â Next came a seaweed wrap that was then kept on for 20 minutes before we washed it off.
Once showered, we slipped into a comfortable outfit and followed the therapist into another room for the final leg of the treatment, the Thai stretching massage.  For those not familiar, this is not a traditional massage and is a whole different experience. Although initially the masseuse used their palms to knead the muscles, it was followed by a lot of twisting, stretching that left us in an absolute state of zen.
We left the spa with soft, smooth skin and our muscles completely relaxed. Â We are already dreaming of going back for it!
