It is fun to see the fashion trends that have evolved over the years—it appears that many designers prefer black regardless of the decade, while many dresses of the ’80s were quite bold and over the top.
According to Paul North, who was part of the creative team, this project was initially more ambitious as the team wanted to feature as many dresses as possible—they had to choose one focus, however, and this chart was the result.
