THIS QUINTESSENTIAL AUSSIE RESTAURANT IS ONE TO TRY

Grove Road offers a taste of Melbourne in the heart of Palm Jumeirah.

When we received an invitation from our good friends at Bystro to review their new restaurant, we were quick to pick a date and head on over. Located at The Pointe, Grove Road is a quintessential Aussie eatery that has been named after the owner’s childhood street back home in Melbourne.

The spacious indoor decor also has an entire section dedicated to kid’s entertainment and includes boardgames, toys and even a tv. There is an outdoor terrace with direct views of the Atlantis and the Palm fountains.

Grove Road offers a Melbourne-inspired menu of fuss-free, wholesome dishes that will satisfy all palettes. We began with juicy Peruvian chicken wings served with carrots, celery and cucumber. The additional zing to the wings and veggies came from the chili lime we squeezed on top and the sour cream we dipped them in.

The fish tacos jumped out at us when we first browsed the menu and we didn’t regret our choice. The cod was wrapped in a crispy batter and topped with a refreshing Asian slow, sliced avo and chipotle mayo. The side of fries was an added bonus!

Our other main was the Korean ribs that were a hearty and filling dish we will most likely order again.

Grove Road is the epitome of an easygoing-yet-satisfying dining experience that won’t break the bank.

Grove Road is located on the The Pointe West, Palm Jumeirah
