We love exploring and discovering new restaurants and cafes in Dubai. Â One of our latest finds, Raju Omlet, had been on our radar ever since we discovered them over Instagram. Â Located in the centre of Karama, the cafe serves authentic Indian breakfast all day.
When we arrived there bright and early, we were surprised to see that almost all the tables were already full. Â A small place with limited seating, the setting is cute and quirky. Â The tables are brightly coloured, the walls are filled with kitschy posters and there is Indian music playing in the background-the place is clean and comfortable.
A quick browse through the menu and we knew exactly what we wanted and it didm’t take long for our food to arrive. Â The omlet regular (9 AED) Â was simple and tasty and the chilly omlet (10 AED) had the extra spice it promised. Â Both eggs came sandwiches between a butter-fried indian style bun known as pav. Â Our accompaniments included a masala chai and a freshly squeezed orange juice with a hint of rock salt sprinkled inside.
Raju Omlete offers street food in a very friendly and no-fuss type ambience. Â It is definitely worth a visit if you want to experience a slice of Bombay right here in the heart of Dubai.
