Pierchic offers a unique over-the-water brunch experience in Dubai
Friday is a lazy day, but trust us, if you reserve a table at Pierchic for brunch, it will be worth the effort. We were recently invited to their gourmet Friday brunch.
Located at the end of a pier the location is truly unmatched. Overlooking the Arabian Gulf it offers views of the Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab and even the Burj Khalifa in the distance.
The setting is modern and relaxed and the service is attentive and outstanding. There is a choice of seating on the deck or then indoors. Although our table was inside, we still had the illusion of being on a boat with uninterrupted views.
A modern Mediterranean seafood restaurant, we began with Oysters from the bar and the seafood platter with Canadian Lobster, Norwegian Prawn, Smoked Salmon, Manila Clams and New Zealand Mussels- it was fresh and an absolute treat.
The Lobster Bisque was smooth and creamy without being too heavy. One of our favorites was the delicious homemade Tagliatelle served with aromatic Rosemary Grilled Prawn and a hearty Tomato Ragout.
In the mains, there is a choice of fish or meat. We picked the Seabass fillet that was moist and served with roasted vegetables.
Dessert is simple Baked Alaska with stewed Plums-the perfect way to end the meal on a sweet note.
Pierchic offers one of the most romantic settings in Dubai and the Friday brunch is truly memorable making it the perfect spot to celebrate a special occasion.
