DINE AT THE MOST EXCLUSIVE TERRACE IN DUBAI

A fresh culinary experience offering a new vantage point of the city.

The Burj Al Arab is a symbol for Dubai and if you live here then you definitely heard the buzz around their latest extension. The 7 star property expanded its boardwalk and created an entire new terrace that is not only Instagram friendly but also stunning in reality. It includes a gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the sea and a contemporary restaurant called Scape. We were recently invited to experience Scape Restaurant & Bar. It has a fabulous location and is strategically perched on the Burj Al Arab Terrace and extending over the Arabian Gulf, the restaurant and bar present a new and unseen perspective of the hotel,

The unique setting offers incredible views of Burj Al Arab, the Palm Jumeirah and the city. There is indoor and outdoor seating, is open for lunch and dinner as well as shisha in the outside bar area.

The earth tone décor gives the place a relaxed vibe and overall the design is clean and contemporary.

The Californian fusion style menu includes signature plates Hamachi Crudo with ponzu, pistachio together with citrus zest, shallot rings and olives; Scallop Tiradito with tiger milk, apple and red radish; and Slow Roasted Wagyu Short Ribs with pomelo, candied peanut, Swiss chard and pave potato.

We tried the Sea Bass (170 AED) with vegetables and a butter sauce. The dish was simple but flavourful. The whole lobster (350 AED) was deconstructed and perfectly cooked in jalapeno and garlic butter-an indulgent dish that we tried with the pave potatoes (35 AED).

Scape Restaurant & Bar offers a vibrant and chic venue for when you have friends from out of town or then just want to treat yourself to something special.

Scape Restaurant & Bar is open for lunch from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, dinner from 6pm to 11pm and Shisha from 12pm. The sharing style dishes start from AED 65. Booking is required for all guests including hotel guests, Burj Al Arab members, and non-hotel guests via Burj Al Arab Restaurants Reservations.
