Craving quality British pub-style food? We were excited to discover new café Rich, located in Mall of the Emirates, which serves up a choice of traditional dishes that had our mouth watering in anticipation from the moment we stepped inside.
The tempting menu includes Scotch Eggs, Salmon Cakes, Steak Pie, Pasta, and Salads – but the item that really grabbed our attention was The Yorkshire Pudding Sandwich (43 AED). The hearty and comforting dish comes with finely sliced rare roast beef, crunchy pickles, and crispy onions, with a layer of horseradish sauce, all wrapped together tightly into a freshly baked Yorkshire Pudding. A side dish of salad and potatoes cooked to the style of your choice completes the dish.
The choice of desserts includes a very moist and fluffy carrot cake that was the perfect conclusion to a satisfying meal.
The staff were attentive and efficient, whilst the interior is very stylish and luxurious – and although the place is very new, it’s already buzzing with activity.
We’re already planning our next visit to sample more of their gastro-pub inspired dishes.
