ROBERTO’S DUBAI: WHERE GREAT FOOD MEETS ITALIAN CONVIVIALITY

Roberto’s is back with an entirely new dining concept following a complete transformation.

For over a decade Roberto’s has remained a mainstay of Italian dining in Dubai. This DIFC stalwart has undergone a complete revamp-from its menu to its design. The reimagined space feels lighter, more open and even more inviting that before, if that were ever possible. The kitchen follows a more focused, ingredient-led approach rooted in Italian technique.

We picked a dish or two from each section of this wonderfully appealing menu, Italian in spirit and full of flavour. From the Crudo Bar, the Branzino-sea bass carpaccio with artichoke salad-is delicately seasoned allowing the ingredients to shine through.

In the insalate section, the Carciofi made with artichokes and topped with grana padano cheese and pine nuts-is a classic Roman dish served here with a subtle twist.

For secondi, the Polletto delivers, spatchcock chicken cooked “under a brick”, marinated the Italian way and served with a golden potato gâteau on the side.

To end on a sweet note, the pistachio gelato is not to be missed-topped with a drizzle of olive oil and a scattering of fresh nuts, it’s utterly delightful.
