The European-inspired menu sets the standard high for contemporary gastronomy, blending exquisite flavours and unexpected ingredients. Â They have recently unveiled an impressive new woodfire-inspired kitchen menu, that focuses on bold, smoky flavours of open-flame cooking.
Each dish is crafted with the freshest, carefully sourced ingredients, and the flavours are elevated by the deep, smoky essence of smouldering embers.
We began with the wood-fired Hokkaido Scallop, delicately infused with yuzu kosho butter and seaweed crumb-a dish with exceptionally delicate texture, and vibrant flavours.
The Smoked Grilled Beetroot Salad, featuring frozen feta and dukkah, offered a rich yet refreshingly balanced combination of flavours.
The Tempura Stuffed Courgette, paired with Provençal goat cheese and local truffle honey, is a must-try indulgent vegetarian option to the table.
In the mood to eat something hearty, the perfectly charred and melt-in-the-mouth tender Wood-Fired Lamb Rack-served with a side of zesty chimichurri sauce-really hit the spot.
The Dover Sole à la Meunière, is an absolute showstopper-golden and crispy on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside-accompanied earthy maitake mushrooms and topped with an umami-rich kombu sauce.
