Bringing the beauty and charm of Provence to Dubai, Cafe L’Occitane is an all-day dining destination tucked away in the heart of City Walk. Decorated in the signature soft golden hues and delicate lavender accents, the space transports you straight to the South of France.
We headed over bright and early for breakfast and were greeted by the friendly staff that remained attentive and cheerful throughout the service. We began with one of the best flat whites we’ve had in a long time, paired perfectly with a freshly baked selection of bread served with butter and jam. We took our time browsing the menu, savouring the blissful setting.
After much deliberation, we settled on the lobster benedict-two perfectly poached eggs on brioche toast with silky smooth Hollandaise sauce and creamy guacamole. The star of the dish, of course, was the sweet and tender Canadian lobster.
The Chef’s choice of steak and eggs was an absolute must. This hearty and indulgent dish featured sunny-side-up eggs, chargrilled steak, crispy potato roti and avocado-it was the perfect protein-packed dish to keep us full for the rest of the day.
